The All Sinto SS Competition took place on March 1, 2019 in the Toyokawa Works cafeteria with President Nagai and other executives and employees from various Sinto Group companies in attendance The All Sinto SS Competition took place on March 1, 2019 in the Toyokawa Works cafeteria, with President Nagai and other executives and employees from various Sinto Group companies in attendance.Senior Executive Officer Yamauchi (SS Project Committee Vice Chairman) began the event by saying, “Please continue to do SS activities with everyone involved, to help our comrades in need. The results of these kaizen are treasures that should be shared among One Global Sinto.
This year, 17 teams were selected from 220 teams across Japan in the categories of production, R&D, administration, and sales, along with 5 teams from overseas group companies, for a total of 22 teams presenting. Each team shared the results of their SS activities based on the year’s new policy of “solving department problems through increased work productivity”.There were many questions from the judges and audience, resulting in a lively competition. After the presentations, Director Goto (SS Project Committee Chairman) stated, “Go directly on site to understand conditions and insistently work toward the ideal situation. I hope the front runners from this year’s SS activities share their knowledge across Sinto.” Participants from overseas included Team CSK PT3 from CSK (Excellence Award, Sales); Surface Treatment Production Kaizen Team from QS (Teamwork Award); Blaze from KS; Taiwanabrator from TB; and Lemon Girl from TI.
